年に２回 は twice a year と表現できます。
訪れます は訪問すると言った風に I visit と言うと良いでしょう。
「祖母の家にお盆とお正月の2回訪れます」

「お盆と正月の年２回、祖母を訪れる。」
visit ... twice a year で「…を年二回訪れる」と言えます。

「年２回、８月と年末に祖母の家に行きます。」
visit の代わりに go to ... とも言えます。
「年２回」は two times a year とも言えますね。
