それらは、あんまり見ないでほしいなって英語でなんて言うの？

有名な画家の作品を見に来ました。
その画家の若い頃の作品を見ています。
すると、その画家は、「若い頃は今ほどうまくなかったからな。それら(
若い頃の作品）は、あんまり見ないでほしいな」と言いました。
この場合pass by は適切でしょうか。
I`d like you to pass by them(my old works).

Pass by は通り過ぎてと言う意味で使いたいのだと思いますが
通って行って見ると言う感じになるので適切ではないかもしれません。

飛ばし読みみたいな感じで飛ばし見ると言う意味で skim through と
言う表現を使うのがおすすめです。

「じっくり見るよりサッと見て欲しいな」
\"I'd rather you skim through them than look at them thoroughly\"
