先日知り合いのアメリカ人と話していた際に「花言葉」のことが話題になったのですが、
the language of flowersやflower languageという言葉は全く耳にしたことがないし意味も全く想像がつかないという感じでした。
ネット上にその言葉は実際に使われているので実際に存在しているのでしょうけど、ネイティブでも知らない人がかなり居ると考えて良いでしょう。
おそらく日本語の「花言葉」と同じレベルで使われている言葉ではないと思います。
