経済的な理由でペットの世話が見れなくなり、捨てる人がいるって英語でなんて言うの？

魚とか川の生物に関してよく問題になっている、飼育放棄により外来種が増え、元々生息していた生物が危険にさらされている  という内容で会話をしていた際に、咄嗟に質問に挙げた文が英語で出てきませんでした。ご教授下さい。
