ですので簡単に言うと

しかし、より丁寧に言いたい場合、
I want toを直接言うより、「I'd like to」と言えます。

I'd like to study basic level grammar

Basics means the minimum or the ground level or first level of something. For example: The basics of education begins in elementary school.
"I want to learn grammar basics." Here you state what you want to learn.
"Can we start with the basics of grammar?" This is a polite way of asking the teacher if you can start at the beginning of the grammar rules.
"Basics" は、あることの最小限度・最低レベルを表します。
例えば：

When learning a language you have to start with the basics if words, pronunciation and grammar to understand it so you can simply say 'i want to learn basic grammar'
If you want to do this before anything else then you could say 'I would like to learn basic grammar first' or 'I would like to start with basic grammar'
concentrate on something' は「～に集中する」という意味です。
'practice' は上達するまで繰り返し行うことをいいます。
例えば、

This is more of a polite and formal way of asking this question, using 'I'd like to' is often a more polite way of asking 'Can I' and/or 'I want'.
To 'start with' something is referring to begin with before anything else.
