アメリカ来てからだいぶ体重が増えたって英語でなんて言うの？

Since I came to America,
アメリカ来てから、

I have gained a lot of weight
だいぶ体重が増えた
直訳的に、my body weight has increased a lotとかになりますが、ちょっと不自然ですね。英語で大体、I gained weight (体重が増えた・日本語への直訳：重量を得た)やI lost weight (体重が減った・日本語への直訳：重量を失った)と言う表現を使います。

「アメリカに来て以来、体重が増えた」

「すごく増えた」という場合は、
I've gained a lot of weight
具体的に何キロ増えた　という場合は、
I've gained seven kilograms
などと言えば良いです。

その逆に減った場合は、
I've lost weightと言います。
