「～の近くにある」って英語でなんて言うの？

near と close to は同じ意味ですよ。
ーOur family goes swimming at a beach that's close to my wife's parents' home every year.

to go swimming で「泳ぎに行く」
close to my wife's parents' home で「妻の実家の近く」
