丁寧な言い方
- Can you please tell me what will be on the test?

他：
- What should we study to prepare for the test? (テストに向けて、何を勉強すればいいですか？)
- What can we expect to be on the test?（テストにはどんな内容を期待すればいいですか。。。みたいな意味です）

☆ could you give me an idea...は少し控えめな聞き方ですが、①と同じく、「教えてくれますか？」という意味になります。
