もっと疑問的に言うと、「Can you please teach me」と言う言い方を使います。

カッコにある「different things」は「色々な言い方」と言うニュアンスがします。なくてもいいですが、あればもっと自然になると思います。

ちなみに、「有名人の名前」＝「the names of famous people」「50州の名前」＝「the names of the fifty states」、「動物の名前」＝「the names of animals」などになります。
