家から駅までの道に踏切がありよく待たされるのですが、引っかからなければ5分で行けるよ、と伝えたいです

この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。

ーIf I don't get stopped at the train crossing, it takes me five minutes to get to the train station from my house.
「踏切に引っ掛からなかったら、家から駅まで５分で行ける」
to get stopped at the train crossing「踏切で止められる」

ーI can get to the train station in five minutes from my house as long as I don't have to wait at the train tracks.
「踏切で待たなくてよいなら、家から駅まで５分で行ける」
to wait at the train tracks 「踏切で待つ」
