複数形で手の平、手の甲、親指の付け根って英語でなんて言うの？

人によって言い方が違うのか混乱しています。palms of hands? palm of hands? backs of hands? back of hands? bases of thumbs? base of thumbs? どれが本当に正しい書き方でしょうか。

ーthe backs of one's hands
ーthe bases of one's thumbs

例：
The palms of his hands are calloused from years of hard physical labour.
「彼の手のひらは、長年の肉体労働から皮膚が硬くなっている」
calloused で「皮膚が硬くなった・たこになった」
