ちなみに口語で
I mean no offense.
というのがあります。
「悪気があるわけじゃない」
というニュアンスで意見の前後に入れて、失礼な物言いの謝罪であったり、前置きに使われます。

I am sorry, I mean no offense.
ごめん、だけど悪気があったわけじゃないんだ。
