The piece of paper you receive when you graduate from doing a course or degree is called a "Graduation certificate" or a "Diploma".
This certificate can also indicate you have a degree in something from a university.

It depends on what you are graduating from, either a course, university, college, vocational school/trade school, or high school. For a high school you would get a "diploma". For a course, vocational, or trade school you can get a "certificate/certification. Finally, at university/college you earn a "degree".
