stop / quit drinking がシンプルでよく使われる表現ですね。
on the wagon は一時的に禁酒している状態のことを言います。スラングっぽい表現ですね。
例：
Mark: Hey, let's go for a drink!
なぁ、飲みに行こうよ！
Erik: Sorry man, I'm on the wagon.
すまん、禁酒してるんだ。
なんで wagon（荷馬車）に乗っていると禁酒なのか「？」になると思いますが、いろんな説があるみたいなんですけど wagon はもともと water wagon（給水車）でそれに乗ってる間は水しか飲めなかったことから来てるっぽいですね。
また、fall off the wagon という表現もあります。これは、アルコールを控えていたが、再び飲み始めてしまったといった状況を指す言葉です。
