「彼のためにサラダください」はいろんな言い方ができます。
❶ Can I get a salad for him?
❷ He wants the salad.
❸ He’ll get the salad
❹ He’s going to get the salad.
❺ He would like the salad.
The salad とA saladの使い分け方ですが、
the salad はサラダが一種類しかないとき、または特定のサラダを指す時に使います。
例えば:サラダが基本一種類しかない(選べないときは)こう言いましょう。
He wants the salad.
He wants a salad と言うと、ただサラダが欲しいことが伝わります。なので、He wants a salad. と言えば、 「どんなサラダですか？」(what kind of salad?) ときかれるでしょう。
