詰まるって英語でなんて言うの？

詰まる。という表現はいろいろありますが
「言葉が詰まる」と言う時の表現は
I'm lost for words.
I don't have anything to say.
I'm stumped.

「詰まる」は一般的に clog と言います。例えば「洗面台が詰まっている」は The sink is clogged と言います。

しかし「言葉に詰まる」は can't find the words 又は can't think of the words と言います。

なので、「言葉に詰まってしまうことが多い」と言いたいなら There are many times when I can't find/can't think of the words が言い方の一つです。

「言葉に詰まる」の「詰まる」はstumped (to be stumped)です。

例
（私が）言葉に詰まってしまった。
I’m stumped.

過去形は
I was stumped.
です。

例
昨日、００と話してて、言葉に詰まってしまった。
Yesterday I was talking to 00 and I was stumped.

この言葉は、何かがのどに詰まる、の「詰まる」とは違います。
