今、担当のものは外出しておりますって英語でなんて言うの？

『担当の者』は person in charge (of it), person responsibleなどといいます。 外出中は、be outでOKです。 その他、『手が空いていない』要な場合は、not available, 『席を外している」でしたら、～is not at his/her desk などといいます。 申し訳ありませんが、という意味のUnfortunatelyや、I'm sorry, I'm afraid をその前につけるといいでしょう。 ●申し訳ございませんが、担当の者は今席を外しております。 I'm afraid the person in charge is not at her desk right now.

He (She) is away from his (her) desk at this moment. He （She）stepped away from his（her) desk right now. ただいま席を外しております。と言った表現です。 もちろん担当者の名前がわかれば、担当者の名前を言ってあげてもよいと思いますよ。 ご参考になさってくださいね。

I'm afraid he's (she's) not available at the moment. 「（申し訳ございませんが）只今席を外しております」 I'm afraidは「（残念ながら）～です、と思います」と 相手の希望に添えないものを伝える前に入れて、全体をやわらげる表現です。 「担当者」の直訳でthe person in chargeなどもありますが、 名前を出さないのであれば、heやsheでいいのではと思いました。 availableは「空いている、（電話などに）出られる」などの意味があります。 at the momentは「只今」と言う意味です。

1) The person in charge is not here at the moment.　 「担当のもの」は、丁寧な言い方だと "person in charge" です。 場合によって、"manager" とも言えます。 2) The person in charge is not in the office at the moment.　 オフィス・事務所などで働いている方は、"here" の代わりに "in the office" とも言えます。
