電車の乗り換えの組み合わせの話ですが、その行き方ならは電車のみでもIf you take the wayでいいのでしょうかIf you take the trainsとした方がいいのでしょうか？

cheaper → 安い（比較系）
電車の乗り換えなどの話なら、this wayの代わりにtaking this train「この電車で行くと」がいいかもしれません。
Ifを使って文章を仮定形にしたい場合。
If you take this train, it will take 5 minutes longer but it will be 50 yen cheaper.
