パイプって英語でなんて言うの？

「パイプ」は英語でも
❶ pipe
❷ Water pipe (水道パイプ)
❸ sink pipe (洗面台/シンク のパイプ) です。

こう言えますよ
The sink pipe was deteriorating little by little and it started to leak.
(シンクのパイプが少しづつ劣化していて、漏れ始めた)。

The water pipe was leaking due to time related deterioration.
(水道のパイプは経年劣化によって、漏れていた)。
*「経年劣化」は time related deterioration です。

英語に「パイプ」を翻訳すれば、a pipe か a tube になります。どちらもつかいますけど "a pipe"は" a tube"より聞きます。
