未取得って英語でなんて言うの？

直訳的にunacquiredになりますね。acquired(取得)の反対語ですね。
でもこの場合には「単位を取得できないと」は英語でIf credits can't be acquiredと言いません。
-In college, you have to repeat the year if you can't get enough credits
-In college, if you can't get the required credits, you have to repeat the year.
と言います。
