虫食いで無く、体系的に満遍なく学びたいって英語でなんて言うの?

場当たり的に分からないことがあったら本を読んだりして勉強してるんですが、出来れば大学で体系的に穴が無いように勉強したいです。そうでなければ、知識に穴ができたり、横の繋がりが見えてきません。

「虫食い」を直訳すると「worm-eaten」(虫に食べられていると言う意味)になりますが、英語でこう言ったら通じません。「here and there」「bits and pieces」「roughly」などの方を使ったらいいと思います。 「虫食いで無く、体系的に満遍なく学びたい」 I don't want to learn roughly, but rather properly and thoroughly. I want to learn systematically and thoroughly, not here and there. ボキャブラリー 虫食い here and there, bits and pieces, roughly 体系的 systematically, properly 満遍なくthoroughly
