大気って英語でなんて言うの？

大気は英語で「Atmosphere」と言います。
大気の状態を調べる。。。と言うと「Check the condition of the atmosphere」になるかと思います。どう言う意味で大気の状態を調べるのかどうかは分かりませんが。

例えば、人工衛星を打ち上げて調べるなら「We will fire a satellite into space to check the condition of the atmosphere」と言います。

「Atmosphere」を使った文書をいくつか挙げてみますので、参考にしてください：
- It is said that CO2 causes the Earth to warm. Did you know that CO2 is present in only 0.04% of the atmosphere?（二酸化炭素が地球温暖化を促していると言われています。大気中に存在する二酸化炭素は 0.04% だけだとご存知でしょうか？）

「大気」「空気」という意味の他に、「雰囲気」という意味でも使われます。
