「ボールが高く上がる」は
the ball goes up high in the air
のように言えます。
例：
Whenever he kicks the soccer ball, it goes really high in the air.

He hits a high ball with all his irons.
「彼はアイアンでボールを高く打ち上げる。」
ゴルフだと、 hit a high ball で「ボールを高く打つ・打ち上げる」のような意味になります。
