子供は理解できないと決めつけずに説明するようにしている、って英語でなんて言うの？
子供って時々おそろしく難しいこと聞いて来ますよね。まだハッキリ理解できないだろうなとは思いつつ、出来る限り平易に説明するようにしています。

I try not to assume that children wouldn't be able to understand certain things, and so I explain things that they ask.
"I try not to assume that"＝「私は～だと決めつけないようにしている」
"that children wouldn't be able to understand certain things"＝「子供たちがある事々に関して理解できないだろうと」
"and so I explain things that they ask"＝「なので、彼らが聞くことは説明 している」
