「主語」はsubjectと言います。subjectはﾄｯﾋﾟｸとか話題の意味もありますので、もっと詳しくまで通じるためsubject of the sentenceと言えます。
何にすべきはwhat to useとかwhat to doになります。
「迷う」はlostと言いますが、英語でlostを使うと結構難しい文になりますので、don't know（知らない）を使いました。lostの例文はI'm lost as to what to do for the subject of the sentence.です。
