take a bus home で「バスで家に帰る」、quicklyは「急いで」という副詞ですね。
in time で「間に合って」になります。なお、「時間通りに、予定通りに」と日本語訳されるon timeもありますが、ご質問の場合はどちらを使っても大丈夫です。（to be on time for the lesson）
（in time, on time どちらも「時間に遅れずに」という意味があります。）
