のように表現できます。
例：
I came home on time so I could watch a show I wanted to see.
「見たい番組を見れるよう時間通り帰ってきた」＝「間に合うように帰ってきた」
この場合「私」はすでに家にいてこれを言っているので I came home と言います。
I made it home on time to see a show I wanted to watch.
「見たかった番組を見るのに間に合うよう、時間通り帰宅した」
make it home to see a show で「番組を見るのに間に合うように帰宅する」

「間に合うように帰る」という表現では、「in time」というフレーズが使えます。「in time」は「時間に間に合って」という意味で、特定のイベントや目的に間に合うことを示します。
1. I got home in time to watch the show.
（その番組を見るのに間に合うように帰ってきた。）
2. I left work early to get home in time for dinner.
（夕食に間に合うように仕事を早く切り上げた。）
3. We need to leave now if we want to get there in time.
