ーPut/leave this on the mat.
「これをマットの上に持って行って」
on the mat「マットの上に」の場合は、put や leave を使って言うのが自然です。

ーBring/take this to the front of the desk.
「これを机の前に持って行って」
bring の他にも take を使っても言えますよ。
