(ウチの子は)明日、家の用事で学校を休みます。って英語でなんて言うの？

家の用事で子供を学校まで送り迎えする事が困難で、子供も学校を休ませる事になった場合、前日に先生に言う時の言い方を教えて下さい。
日本語だと｢家の用事｣で分かってもらえますが、英語だと詳しくどんな用事か言った方がいいですか？
家の用事とは健康診断とか市役所での手続きとかその時によって理由が異なるので、出来たらどんな理由でも使える言い方があれば教えて欲しいです。

absent は「欠席」の意味の英語表現です。
家の用事ですが、family matterでOKだと思います。

具体的に言わなくてはいけないようでしたら、その時に詳細を言えばいいでしょう。

アメリカでは、学校より家庭を優先させるのが基本なので、家庭の用事で子供が学校を休むことは珍しくありません。
私立の学校などで出席に厳しいところももちろんありますが。

Any of these statements is adequate. You may add the word 'Sorry' if you wish.

上記のどの例文も意図が十分に伝わることでしょう。Sorryを付け加えることもできます。

Family matter - people understand that the reason for absence is preferred to be kept confidential.
This is the same as personal or private reasons, issues, problems and or dilemmas.

Make it - attend (school or event etc.)

Family matter: 欠席の理由は秘密にするのが好ましいものだと人々は理解してくれます。
personal/private reasons/issues/problems/dilemmasという組み合わせもこれと同義です。

Make it : 参加する。

家の事情で、というのは　for family reasons （←複数形）　です。そう言えば、特に詳しく聞かれることはないでしょう。

Unfortunately means that you would have loved your child to attend school but due to matters beyond your control they will not be able to.

Unfortunately は、あなたが子供を学校に行かせたいのだが、問題によりそれができないであろうことを意味しています。

"My child will not be at school tomorrow" and "My child will be absent tomorrow" mean the same thing.

"because" and "As there is" means the same thing.

"Family Matter" is the reason. It is a personal private matter.

My child will not be at school tomorrowとMy child will be absent tomorrowは、
同じ意味です。（私の子供は明日欠席します）

becauseとAs there isは同じ意味です。

Family Matterは理由です。個人的なことだという意味です。
