to take out で「…をとる」
stuck in the drain のように言うことができます。
to throw ...  out で「…を捨てる」

ーCan you get rid of the hair that's clogging up the bathroom drain?
「風呂場の排水溝を詰まらしている髪を捨ててください」
to get rid of  ... で「…を処分する・捨てる」
to clog up で「詰まる」
