〜をしない限り...だと思うって英語でなんて言うの？

「ゴミの量を減らない限りリサイクルを沢山しても意味がないと思います」と英語で言いたかったですけど、unless を使うのはわかるんですけどどう使ったら良いのかわからなくて教えてほしいです。
