お気に入りの曲が流れてきて声が出そうになったって英語でなんて言うの？

I almost gave a glad shout on the street because my fav song was played on the radio で合ってますか？
もっとわかりやすい表現があったら教えてください :-)

\"give a glad shout\" は良いフレーズですね。他にも \"let out a whoop of joy\"という言い方も出来ます。\"whoop\"は名詞として使えますが、動詞もあります：\"I whooped with joy when I heard my favorite song.\"

\"I almost let out a whoop of joy on the street\"＝「道端で歓声をあげそうになった」

\"when I heard my favorite song being played on the radio.\"＝「ラジオで私のお気に入りの歌が流れているのを聞いて。」

to almost shout out loud で「大声で叫びそうになる」

「ラジオでお気に入りの曲が流れているのを聴いて、歌い出すところだった」
just about で「〜しそうになる」
to start singing で「歌い出す」
