Look for ... でも良いですが、「探す」にこだわらず次のような言い方も自然で良いですよ。
ーLook behind the TV.
「テレビの後ろを見てみて」
ーLook under the tree.
「ツリーの下を見てみて」
ーYou might find it behind the TV.
「テレビの後ろで見つかるかも」
ーTake a look under the tree.
「ツリーの下を見てごらん」
take a look の代わりに have a look でも良いです。
