「議題」というのは「Agenda」と表現になります。文脈によってはだいたいニュアンスが違いますので「Subject」と「Topic of discussion」と表現もになります。
例えば、「議題に上ってるこうもくを続けましょう。」を表現すると「Let's proceed with the items on the agenda.」になります。また、「会議の議題が配布された。」を表現すると「The agenda for the meeting has been distributed.」になります！
あと、「議題を変えてみたらどうだろう。」を表現すると「Suppose we change the subject.」になります！
質問者さんへ
例えば会議中のセリフとして、
Let's see what we should talk about today.
「では、今日話すべき内容を確認しよう」
などと言う事が出来ます。
ポイントは、「議題」という一見難しそうな英単語を
what we should talk about「私たちが話すべき事」と
言い換えている点です。
別に幼稚な表現では無く、ビジネス、アカデミック、日常会話
問わずに、幅広く使われる非常に便利な表現です。
（知っておけば、今回のように「単語を言い換える」ことが
できるため、会話での応用力がかなり高まります）
