I understand this as I am often asked about the temperature in classes. I try to narrow it down to cold, warm, and hot so I only have to remember three differences. For example, if it is in the 30's Fahrenheit, it is 0 in Celsius so that expresses that it is cold. I also know if it is in the 70's Fahrenheit then it is 21 Celsius so it is warm. 90's in Fahrenheit is 32 Celsius so that explains it is hot.
