海外に旅行に行くことでDMMの先生に、「日ごろの勉強の成果を試す」と伝えたく質問をさせていただきました。
…ちなみに、私が作った文章は以下です。
I will communicate with foreigner people by English in order to try showing the results of my practice.
I'll set myself a challenge to speak/practice English.
set oneself a challenge to〜：自分に対して〜という課題をかす
speak/practice Englishとしましたが試すという意味が今回は英語をつかってみる、話しているというニュアンスかと思いますので、このようにしました。
set：目標を掲げる
challenge：（ここでは）努力してみること
「勉強」や「練習」よりも、「学んだ事 (what I have learned)」の方が適していると思います。
★I will interact with the locals in English to test what I have learned.
"locals"→地元の人
"interact"→接する・交流する
ちなみに、文法的にこの文章は：
I will communicate with FOREIGNERS IN English in order to try showing the results of my practice.
✕foreigner people→○foreigners OR foreign people
