not either A or Bです.
(neither A nor B でもOKですが、こちらの方は少々堅くなります）
なお、not both A and B は、「A、B両方ともというわけではない=部分否定」 となりますのでご注意
例・Not both John and Paul are alive. (ジョンとポールの両方ともが、生きているわけではない）
忙しいは、busy, 暇な（日） は slow とよく言いますので、
特に暇でも忙しくもない日でした は
（It was not either busy or slow.) It was just a normal day (today).
となります。
（normal のかわりに average でもOKですが、その場合は、an average dayと冠詞は an になります。）
