the day before that (day)と言います。
実は、「[おととい](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/33925/)」や「明後日」の場合も同じような言い方になります。
おととい＝the day before yesterday
明後日= the day after tomorrow
もうちょっと丁寧な言い方は
The previous day
と言います。
A: Did you go to the beach on the 6th?
B: No, we went on the day before that.
No, we went on the previous day
