上記のような言い方ができます。
1.の言い方で十分丁寧ですが、2.では Would it be okay if で「お願いしてもいいでしょうか」のようなさらに丁寧なニュアンスになります。英語ではここまで下からお願いする必要はないと思いますが、なるべく丁寧に言いたい時はこのような聞き方が良いと思います。
1.は Could you give me a hand? や Give me a hand などのようによりカジュアルな言い方もできます。とてもよく使う表現です！

UKでは一般的に初めて会った時にすごくカジュアルに話しかけます。もし少し丁寧に話したければ、WOULD YOU MIND … ?を何かを頼む前に使うとこともできます。
Would you do me a favor? は、丁寧に「お願いがあるのですが（助けてくださいますでしょうか）」と言いたいときにあらゆる場面で使える便利な表現です。favorは、助け、親切な行為という意味があります。
また、Can I ask a question? は、「お尋ねしてよろしいでしょうか」という表現です。
上記の質問に対して、相手がYes（はい）、Sure（もちろん）と答えてくれたら、お礼を言って、お願いしたい具体的な内容をお伝えするといいですね＾＾
