前回の続き。って英語でなんて言うの？

「[前回](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/43899/)」→「Last time」 「[続き](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/49584/)」→「Continuation」 直訳すると「Continuation from last time」で表現します。 「Pick up where I left off」というのも同じ意味です。 これは英語のイディオムです。 例： I'd like to pick up where we left off. 最後に終わったところの続きから始めたいです。

1) To continueとは続く（[続き](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/49584/)） where we left offとは前回まで話したところ。 2) To pick upとはものを[拾う](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/48151/)ではなくて、依然話せた内容を戻って(from where we left off)話し続きましょという意味なのです。 Continue という単語よりpick up fromがよりカジュアル。 　 また、依然別れた恋人ともう一度やり直したいときは Can we pick up from where we left off? という、以前までいたところからそのまま続けてもいいですか？とpick upの意味も様々です。

When taking notes, or even teaching students who take notes, you can use the following to express “前回の続き” — (Let’s/Should we/Are we going to) continue from last time. (Let’s/Should we/Are we going to) pick up where we left off. (Let’s/Should we/Are we going to) keep going from last time.

1) (前回の続きから始める) "resume 〇〇" は「〇〇を再開する・再び始める」という意味の単語で、何かを続きから始めるという時に便利な表現です。 2) (前回の〇〇の続き) "previous" は「以前の・前回の」という意味の単語です (the previous note taking. 前回のノートの続き)。 "previously on 〇〇" とドラマなどの「前回のあらすじ」を紹介するときによく使われている表現もいいかもしれませんね
