Thanks for the coffee! Thanks for treating me a coffee.

Thanks for treating me to coffee. treat (me) a coffeeというよりtreat (me) to coffeeのほうがよく使われると思います。 treat (someone) to... Thanks for treating me to [breakfast/lunch/dinner]. Thanks for treating me to the movies.

All that is required here is a short 'thank you'. 1. You thank your friend. 2. You thank your friend. 3. You offer to buy coffee next time. A "Let me pay for the beers!" B "No, it's my shout. You paid last time."
A "Let me pay for the beers!" B "No, it's my shout. You paid last time."

Thank you very much' is a little more mundane even if 'very' is emphasized. It is a deep thank you, but it typically comes off as somewhat formal. 'Thank you so much' conveys a deeper, more heartfelt gratitude, often with an overtone of surprise and also of humility. It implies that what someone did for you helped you both personally and meaningfully to the greatest extent. In the third statement, apart from thanking the person for buying you the coffee, you express what you felt about the coffee. You enjoyed it.
Thank you very much はたとえ'very'が強調されていても少しありきたりな感じがします。 Thank you so much

Cheers' is a very friendly way to say thank you and can be used in informal situations. A: Cheers for the coffee, it is very nice. B: No problem, you are welcome. 'Thanks for the coffee' is quite literally showing your thanks for the coffee. to appreciate - to be thankful or grateful for something. Example: I appreciate the coffee - I am grateful for the coffee.
A: Cheers for the coffee, it is very nice. (コーヒーありがとう、とてもうれしいです) B: No problem, you are welcome. 【例】 I appreciate the coffee.

First we can simply thank someone for the coffee itself. We can also thank them for, "buying," the coffee which in a way is talking about the action of purchasing the coffee itself.
