Well, when people ask you to come back in five minutes, it usually means, 'come back a little later.'
They don't mean literally five minutes. If someone said that, the norm would be to return in ten or fifteenminutes or more to allow this person adequate time (and also because you do noty want to be walking up and down the shop waiting for a long time). best just to go to the nearest coffee shop and relax for a while!
5分後に来てくださいと言われた場合、その言葉は通常「少し後で来て下さい」という意味です。
文字通り5分という意味で言ったのではありません。
そう言われた場合、一般的には10分か15分後に戻ってくるのが良いでしょう。
そうすればその人は準備するのに十分な時間があります。
（長い時間を待ちながら店の付近を歩き回りたくないのであれば）近くの喫茶店に行って、しばらくくつろぐのが一番良いでしょう。
