手の甲って英語でなんて言うの？

こんにちは！ この質問を見るまでは、何とはなしに手の甲を"back of the hand"と呼んでいました。 質問者様のいう通り、手のひらはpalmです。 手って、英語表現だと手のひらが表で手の甲が裏ですね。 ちなみに、私が住んでいたハワイでは、厳密にいうと back of the hand ですが、handだけでも手の甲として通じていました。 【おまけ】手相は、palm reading といいます。 Have fun learning English!

the back of your hand →手の甲 「手の後面」が直訳です。 これで「手の甲」が表せると思います。 例） Place the back of your hand on the pavement.
