This was the fastest drive to work (You never got to work faster than that) There was no traffic, this was the fastest drive to work. A : Are there any traffic jams? B : There was no traffic, this was the fastest drive to work.
This was the fastest drive to work. There was no traffic, this was the fastest drive to work. A: Are there any traffic jams? B: There was no traffic, this was the fastest drive to work.

  • I finished in no time.

  • That's a new record.

I finished in no time – in no time means very little time. I got to work in no time because there was no traffic. I got there in no time. I finished my homework in no time. Similar – “That took no time at all”, to express how quick it was. That was a new record – This expresses that this is the first time for something, e.g. fastest/slowest time, the amount of work you did, etc. “I made it to work in 20 minutes, that’s a new record” ”I completed all my tasks before noon, that’s a new record”.
"I finished in no time ― in no time はとても短い時間を意味します。 I got to work in no time because there was no traffic.(道がすいていたのですぐに仕事場に着きました。) I finished my homework in no time. (あっという間に宿題を終えました) 似た表現で“That took no time at all”,があります。 That was a new record – 今までの中で記録的な早さ/最速の時間、やった仕事の量などを表します。 “I made it to work in 20 minutes, that’s a new record”(仕事場に20分で着いた。 ”I completed all my tasks before noon, that’s a new record”.(初めて全ての課題をお昼前に終わらせた。) "

  • The road was such a pleasure today. Free flow traffic and got to work so much earlier.

  • I finished my work so quick today. Normally takes me 30 minutes but today I have done it in 20 minutes.

>The road was such a pleasure today. Free flow traffic and got to work so much earlier. *Pleasure=an event or activity from which one derives enjoyment. *Free flow traffic=not a lot of cars on the road. This sentence explains that the road to work was very nice and calm it that you actually got to work earlier than usual because of that. >I finished my work so quick today. Normally takes me 30 minutes but today I have done it in 20 minutes. This explains that you done your work quicker than usual.
The road was such a pleasure today. Free flow traffic and got to work so much earlier. I finished my work so quick today. Normally takes me 30 minutes but today I have done it in 20 minutes.

  • Due to little traffic on the roads this morning, I drove the fastest ever and got to work 40 minutes early.

  • Because the roads were clear this morning, I drove at 140 km per our and got to work 40 minutes early.

  • Its amazing! I did my homework in 20 minutes today instead of the usual 30 minutes. The fastest time ever.

In cases one and two, the reason for your having driven very fast through the streets is because there was little traffic. When the roads are empty, one can be instinctively compelled to drive very fast, faster than one does usually. For example, the speed limit might be 80 km per hour in a particular stretch, but one might drive at 140 km per hour in that stretch. This can result in someone getting to work much earlier than usual. As for the homework speed achievement, it is self explanatory. May be there were no distractions resulting in you working through your homework faster.

  • Everything is happening so quickly today!

  • I can't believe we're travelling so fast through the city!

  • I've never had such a clear ride through the city!

If you want to talk about the time being the fastest ever, you may say: "That was the fastest I've ever ........" Eg. "That was the fastest I've ever travelled through the city!" more generally, you can comment: "Everything is happening so quickly today!" In the case of city travel, if the lights are always green and nothing slows you down, you may say: "I've never had such a clear ride through the city!" or "I can't believe we're travelling so fast through the city!"
今までで一番速かったことを話したければ "That was the fastest I've ever ........" (... "That was the fastest I've ever travelled through the city!" この場合信号がいつも青であなたを減速させるものが何もない場合は "I've never had such a clear ride through the city!" (こんなに街中をスラスラと走ることができたのは初めてです) または "I can't believe we're travelling so fast through the city!"

  • I've never got to work this early.

  • I finished my homework way faster than I expected.

  • It usually takes about 30 minutes to finish my homework but today it only took 20 minutes to finish it.

1)I've never got to work this early. 2)I finished my homework way faster than I expected.

  • in record time...

  • I made it to work in record time, since the streets were almost empty of traffic!

We can do anything in record time;-) this means we have broken our "personal best" record! or done something in the fasest time ever achieved! "I made it to work in record time, since the streets were almost empty of traffic!"
【例】 "I made it to work in record time, since the streets were almost empty of traffic!"

  • This is the fastest that I have ever gotten to my office.

get to (場所)で「(場所)へ着く」という意味になるので get to the (my) office で「会社に着く」になります。
