水道水飲めますか？
Is this tap water safe to drink?です。
海外のレストランなどでお水ください(Can I have some water?)と言うと、
だいたい水道水(tap water)が出されます。
ですので、心配な方は、ミネラルウォーターを注文した方が良いでしょう。

余談ですが私は今も昔も水道水愛飲家です。毎日大量に飲むものなので一々味にこだわってたらお金と労力が掛かりますし、日本の水道水は安全なのにわざわざ高いものを買って来るなんて考えられない！色んなキャンペーンでやたらウォーターサーバーを勧められますが、そんなの置く場所ありませんっ。

水道水を飲めるかどうかは国・州・町の施設の衛生と安全性次第なので、この質問は役に立ちます。
・"Is tap water okay for you?"＝「水道水を飲めますか？」
友だちが家に来るとき、水をあげる前に、水道水を飲めるかどうかを確認します。アメリカも、水道水を飲まない主義の方がいます。
"tap water"の代わりに"water from the faucet"も言えますが、"tap water"は普通の言い方です。
「水道水」は tap water と言います。
