It's a full moon tonight.で「今夜は満月です」という意味です。
空を見ることに関しては、空全体を見るときは"look at the sky",
空の何か対象物を見たり、空を覗き込むようなときは"look in the sky"を使うこともあります。
"look at the stars in the sky"（空の星を見る）となります。
今回は見るというよりも「見上げる」ということなので"look up in the sky"も使えます。
