  • It was already there

  • I found it when I opened the book

Already - if we use this adverb, it means prior to a specified or implied past, present, or future time : by this time: previously " He had already left when I called." "They've already agreed to come." "I'd already left by the time you called." "He acted as if he didn't already know."
【例】 " He had already left when I called." (私が電話した時、彼はすでに去っていました) "They've already agreed to come." (彼らはすで来ることに賛成しています) "I'd already left by the time you called." (あなたが電話した時にはすでに外出していました) "He acted as if he didn't already know."

  • When I booked this book out the bookmark was already in it.

  • No, it is not mine. I found it inside the book.

"When I booked this book out the bookmark was already in it." Booking a book out, is what we say when we take a book from the library, so then the librarian will know it is how the book was given to you.
"When I booked this book out the bookmark was already in it." Booking a book outは本を借りることです。

  • No, when I took the book out it was already there.

  • No It was in the book when I borrowed it.

"No, when I took the book out it was already there." This explains to the librarian that it is not your bookmark and that it was inside the book when you borrowed it from the library. "No, It was in the book when I borrowed it." This is another polite way of explaining that when you got home and opened the book it was in there already.
"No, when I took the book out it was already there." "No, It was in the book when I borrowed it."

  • It is not mine. It was in there already when I borrowed it.

  • It isn't my bookmark. It was already in there when I borrowed it.

"Already" means "before the time being discussed". This is a useful word for your particular situation. The bookmark was already in there. When we obtain a book from the library, we almost always use the verb "to borrow". "To borrow" means to take and use something belonging to someone else, with the intention of returning it to them once we have finished using it. It is much cheaper to borrow books from the library than to buy them from a shop!
The bookmark was already in there.

  • No, it's not mine it was already in the book

  • No, it was inside the book when i took it out

  • No it was there when i borrowed the book

When you get a book from a library this you are said to 'take it out' or 'borrow it' if you borrow something you are not keeping it just using and returning it o where you got it from if something was there or done before then this is called 'already'
図書館から本を借りることは、'take it out' や 'borrow it' で表せます。

  • It was already inside the book

  • I found it inside, it is not mine

"It was already inside the book" For some to 'already' be there this states that something was originally there before you where able to see/have it. ex. "The bookmark was already in the book when I rented it from the library" "I found it inside, it is not mine" To 'Find/found' something is to come across something by accident.
"It was already inside the book"(既に本の中に入っていました) 'Already' は、それが自分の所に来る前からそこにあったことを表します。 例: "The bookmark was already in the book when I rented it from the library" (私が図書館から本を借りたときにはもう中にしおりがありました) "I found it inside, it is not mine"(中に入っていました、私のではありません) 'Find/found' は「偶然見つける」という意味です。

  • No, it isnt mine. It must have been put there by the previous borrower.

  • No, it isn't mine. When I borrowed the book, the bookmark was already there.

  • No, it isn't mine. One of the previous borrowers must have left it in there.

People always put book marks in the books they read. It's alright to leave a bookmark in your own book for future reference. But, if it's a book one borrowed from a library, it's importatnt to remove the bookmark when returning it so that other borrowers don't get misled by it when referencing. However, it's easy to forget a bookmark in the book if it's not sticking out. Oftentimes, a future borrowers of the book may also forget remove it. So if you are asked by the librarian when returning the book as to whether it's your bookmark, you may respond in any of the following ways: No, it isnt mine. It must have been put there by the previous borrower. or No, it isn't mine. When I borrowed the book, the bookmark was already there. or No, it isn't mine. One of the previous borrowers must have left it in there.
No, it isnt mine. It must have been put there by the previous borrower. When I borrowed the book, the bookmark was already there. One of the previous borrowers must have left it in there.
