この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。 ーI was a student until I was half way through my twenties. I think I need to start working pretty soon. 「20代半ばまで学生だったので、そろそろ働かないといけない」 until I was half way through my twenties で「私が20代半ばになるまで」と言えます。 ご参考まで！
