スーパーで、Do you have amount? と聞かれた（と思うのですが）、これはクレジットカードの残高があるならクレジットカードで支払いますか？という意味だと捉えましたが、あっていますか？また、この時 Cash, please. と答えましたが、ぶっきらぼうな言い方ではなかったかモヤモヤしています。

Do you have amount? という質問は何を聞こうとしたのかが分かりませんが、スーパーのレジで口座残高について聞かれることはない気がします。
(もしかしたら “Do you have an account?” と、スーパーのポイントカードのようなものがあるか聞かれたかも？)
