「カーテンがちゃんと閉まっていなくて真ん中にちょっと隙間ができている。気になって仕方がないよ。」
「カーテンがよく閉まっていない」は the curtains are not closed all the way が使えると思います。
「気になって仕方がない」は it really bothers me と言えます。

The curtains aren't closed completely leaving a little space in the middle and that gets under my skin. 
「カーテンが完全に閉まってないから真ん中にちょっと隙間がができちゃって、気に障るんだけど。」
「カーテンがよく閉まっていない」は the curtains are not closed completely とも言えます。
